Our team was tasked with designing a visually engaging booklet that would showcase the advanced photography capabilities and innovative tools of the Google Pixel 4. I took on creating the entire booklet—from the art direction of the photography, the geometric illustrations depicting the camera features, to the construction of the booklet. This project allowed me to have hands on experience owning an entire project from start to finish, and working directly with one of the largest companies in the world.

I envisioned a tabbed booklet, enabling users to quickly navigate to key phone functions, paired with clean, beautifully illustrated examples of how the camera features work. I wanted something that didn’t feel like a complicated user manual full of convoluted instructions, but something that would only take a glance to understand. I worked with a copy writer to have the instructions be as simple as possible, adding the Ui icons of the camera features into the writing to make it extremely straightforward. The end result showcases the phone’s remarkable capabilities in a way that feels tech-forward and on brand for Google.

This is a separate booklet that explains all of the features of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 4. It has all of the same illustrations and imagery as the Pixel 4 booklet with an added chart at the end explaining the differences between the two phones.
